Earlier this year, LG introduced its new StanbyMe Go wireless portable display in the South Korean market. The device was then launched in the USA and now finally made available to the global market.

The South Korean technology giant has a 27-inch IPS LCD panel that offers Full HD resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. This display supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 with its quad-core processor that uses artificial intelligence to further enhance the image quality. It can upscale even lower resolution content to near FHD quality. Notably, StanbyMe also supports touch, allowing various input actions such as swiping, tapping, and zooming.
On a single full charge, the wireless portable monitor can last up to 3 hours on a single full charge. It is housed in a portable briefcase-like box that you can easily carry on the go. For connectivity, the device has an HDMI, USB, WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5. StanbyME has an AI Sound Pro feature that enhances the sound quality of your favorite movies and music and also supports Dolby Atmos. The portable display runs on webOS.
LG StanbyMe Go is currently available for pre-order in the US for $999.99. However, it will now also be available in European regions such as Italy, France, England, Spain and Germany from next month. The StanbyME series will also be showcased at the IFA 2023 event in September.
