Meta did not keep its promise of WhatsApp app for iPad users
Last year, Meta promised to bring a WhatsApp app to iPad users. Because as interesting as it sounds, there is no WhatsApp app for iPad yet.
Although the company released a beta version of WhatsApp for iPadOS in September, the stable version has not yet arrived, so iPad users are still logging in and using WhatsApp via the web.
While Meta has promised a WhatsApp app for iPadOS, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said last year that the iPad wasn’t a priority for the company, and there’s no sign yet on the App Store that an iPad version of the messaging app will be released.
On the other hand, it should be noted that Meta’s WhatsApp beta app for iPadOS is still available. However, despite having the same features as the iOS version, the app constantly crashes, making it impossible to use.
Meta has not yet made any statement on the subject , so it is unclear when WhatsApp for iPadOS will be released.
